Venom's Aides are characters who appear in Nemesis 2 and its remake Nemesis '90 Kai. They are a group of Wreek scientists and survivors from the Northern Cross War, who worked with Venom on the Space Agency and later joined him on his crusade against Gradius. Each of them is stationed in one of the seven neo-space plants and each pilots one of the warships that act as the bosses of the game.

• Colonel Total Death: Commander of Fortress Planet. Pilots the Abaddon Warship.

Trivia

• All members, apart from Total Death, are named after rock and heavy metal bands: Overkill, Anthrax, Judas Priest, Motörhead and Testament.
  • Total Death could possibly be a reference to thrash and heavy metal band Megadeth, although the name could have been modified to avoid confusion with Megadeath, an enemy exclusive to the MSX port of Gradius.
