Uros (ウロス Urosu) is a recurring enemy in the Gradius series.
Description[]
It is an enemy introduced in Gradius, the fourth to be encountered in the Volcano stage, and the first to be found on terrain.
Attack patterns[]
Uros hover along the top or bottom terrain. The pod at the top of the Uros will occasionally open up and fire a bullet at the Vic Viper. One can utilize Missiles to destroy Uros hovering on the bottom terrain, though you have to go and shoot a Uros yourself if it appears on the top terrain. Red Uros are somewhat uncommon, but, as always, will drop a capsule after it is destroyed.
