Tyran Pace (タイランペイス) is an exclusive sub-boss in the MSX port of Gradius, being fought in the fifth stage shortly after the Tornado.
Attack patterns[]
Tyran Paces will come from both the left and right sides of the screen, slowly floating around before their pieces separate and home into the player. They are invulnerable while the pieces are still connected.

- Tyran Pace is named after the German heavy metal band of same name.
