Tri-Pod Core

Tri-Pod Core (トライポットコア Toraipoddo Koa^?) is the boss of Stage 2 in Otomedius Excellent.

Description[]

It is a Shadow Dancer-like Core Warship that appears in Otomedius Excellent. It is piloted by T.B. Rika, who is based on Chichibinta Rika.

Attack patterns[]

It uses its two destroyable tentacles to shoot small laser projectiles. If both are destroyed, then it shoots two vulcan bullets at a steady pace. Occasionally, it moves a little closer and deploy several homing missiles before jumping. It backs up a bit before attempting to ram the player.
