I don't think the back shot is needed. Can't you use Option placement as well? 97.95.54.218 23:13, 10 June 2009 (UTC) Brain Golem
First of all, the ship moves around the screen in such a way that anyone attempting to use options is crushed. Second, options have much less movement range in the MSX games, making it almost impossible to kill it that way. (removed by author) --NARFNra 01:57, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
You can use the option placement if you are at enough fast speed and using SHADOW as your option type, but if not, you have to use the back beam.
Corrected the player ship's name since Vic Viper is not present in Nemesis 3 - the ship's name is Vixen.
MSX Gradius series didn't have Vic Viper as player ship except for Gradius 1 - they had different ships like Metalion,Saber Tiger, and Thrasher.

Werid Sentence[]
"In Armageddon, we make things tougher with him being the last boss of the boss rush. "
Care to explain what is this sentence all about? Is it for a fangame? Is a developer dropping by to leak about their Boss Rush stage? I can tolerate that the sentence is written in first-person, but what the hell is Armageddon, if thhat is even the full title?

UPDATE:
It was a fan game. Was because the creator got hit with a computer virus and lost the files to the infection.
