Sol (ソル Soru) is the fourth boss of the final stage in Gradius Gaiden.
Description[]
The Sol is a machine that rotate straight and back forward even though doesn't have attack at all. It is fought after the Heavy Ducker. Just like the Shadow Dancer, it is indestructible so need to be avoided completely.
Attack patterns[]
This boss doesn't have any attacks at all, it just rotates back and forward. However, on higher loops, it will move more faster. So be prepared to get enough speed ups.
It will automatically self-destruct after a while.
Trivia[]
- Sol means "sun" in Spanish and Portuguese.
- It is one of the only two indestructible Shadow Dancers to inherently self-destruct without player intervention, the other is Rotating Wall.
