Shadow Dancer, also known as Shadow Walker, is a general term that refers to giant mechanical walkers that are indestructible (in most of the games). You have to navigate through their legs so you won't get crushed. Some of the games this boss type appears in doesn't always include them being invincible, and in those cases just avoid their legs and shoot the body.
