Serpent Core

Serpent Core (サーペントコア Sāpento Koa^?) is the boss of Stage 3 in Otomedius Excellent.

Description[]

It is a serpentine Core Warship modeled after Gillador from Gradius IV. It is piloted by Ryukotsuki, the main antagonist and final boss of Getsu Fūma Den.

Attack patterns[]

It mainly attacks by ramming the player. From both front and back of the player, it can fire laser spreads towards the player. Occasionally, it will fire pseudo-sunburst bullets. While it is flying around, it shoots bullet spreads.
