Lizard Core

Lizard Core (リザードコア Rizādo Koa^?) is the boss of Stage 9 of Gradius III (arcade) and Stage 2 in Nemesis '90 Kai.

Description[]

The Lizard Core has two long arms which it uses for both offense and defense, as well as attacking by shooting a mass of lasers.

Attack patterns[]

When the boss appears, the arms will extend from the middle area and then move up and down firing lasers. The main part will also fire lasers. The tricky part is that the "hands" also block incoming fire. In Nemesis '90 Kai, the "arms" can be destroyed. It fires like Big Core MK III when it's got one core left.
