Vic Viper Laser

Listed here are all of the Laser Weapons from all Gradius related games.

  • Laser - A straight destructive beam of light that decimates any target in front of it.
  • Cyclone Laser - An upgrade to the standard laser, it has a spiral effect for better drilling and is slightly thicker.
  • Twin Laser - Two thin pulse lasers that are not as powerful as the standard laser but can hit targets easier.
  • Pulse Laser - Same as Twin Laser, but can be upgraded to fire three lasers at once. (Gradius Gaiden)

Pulse Laser was also alternate name for Ripple Laser in Vulcan Venture / Gradius II.

  • Ripple Laser - An expanding laser that can hit targets over a wide range but is generally weak.
  • Extend Laser - An upgrade to the standard laser, twin long lasers are shot out that are more powerful. (Nemesis 2)
  • Meteor Laser - An upgrade to the standard laser. This is similar to the Cyclone Laser in that there is a spiral and drilling. However, this is more powerful. (Salamander MSX, Nemesis 3)
  • Screw Laser - An upgrade to the Meteo and Twinkle Lasers, this laser bends the laser and expands hit making it look like a drill. (Salamander MSX, Nemesis 3)
  • Twinkle Laser - An upgrade to the standard laser, the beam gets wider and has a sparkling effect. (Nemesis 3)
  • Double Laser - A special upgrade usable only when the Saber Tiger and Thrasher are connected. Two powerful lasers are shot. (Salamander MSX)
  • Triple Laser - A special upgrade usable only when the Saber Tiger and Thrasher are connected. Three powerful lasers are shot. (Salamander MSX)
  • Vector Laser - A powerup upgrade that releases very powerful waves that go though many targets but is very slow. (Nemesis 2)
  • Vector Laser (Upgrade) - An upgrade to the Ripple Laser. This version is a more powerful Ripple Laser. (Nemesis 3)
  • Fire Blaster - A short range stream of fire that is very powerful, as well as unique in that it can be made to fire continuously, instead of in bursts. (Nemesis 2, Nemesis 3, Gradius V)
  • Extend Blaster - Two rows of Fire Blaster thrown out at once. (Nemesis 3)
  • Hyper Ray - Upgrade to the Cyclone Laser in Salamander 2. Faster and more powerful than Cyclone Laser. (Salamander 2)
  • Buster Ripple - Upgrade to the Ripple Laser in Salamander 2. Larger and Faster than Ripple Laser. (Salamander 2)
  • Spear Laser - Upgrade to the Twin Laser in Salamander 2. More powerful and it doesn't get thinner like Twin Laser. (Salamander 2)
  • Gravity Bullet - Fires a bullet which generates a powerful black hole. (Gradius Gaiden)
  • Armor Piercing - Fires an armor piercing bullet. Doesn't seem too powerful. (Gradius IV)
  • Thrust Laser - Fires a thick and powerful shot. (Gradius Galaxies)
