Jumper

Template:Enemy Infobox Jumpers (ジャンパー) are enemies first encountered in Gradius, in the Volcano stage, and will become recurrent enemies later in the Gradius series. Jumpers are similiar to Uros, but are much more mobile, being able to hop across the terrain, instead of just hovering over the it.

Attack Patterns

Jumpers will generally just hop across the terrain, though they will occasionally pause between bounces and shoot three bullets in different directions. Strangely, at least in the first stage, red colored Jumpers are more common then regular ones.
