Juggler Core (ジャグラーコア Jagurā Koa) is the fifth boss of Stage 8 in Gradius Gaiden.
Description[]
Juggler Core is the fifth boss of the Boss Rush of this game. Making honor to its name, it "juggles" the spheres it carries while in battle.
Attack patterns[]
Juggler Core will first attempt to shoot the player with the guns on the spheres it carries, as well as with a laser hidden in its orange shield. Its first shield is considerably resilient; however, its attacks at this point are rather easy to dodge.
Once the shield is destroyed, the core's attack pattern will change. The large laser in the front will be replaced by two smaller lasers (which look similar to Big Core MK II's). It will also launch the spheres forward, which each have four lasers on them. The spheres will shoot them diagonally, so it's safest to move to the center of the screen during this attack.
Lastly, it will shoot destroyable homing missiles from its rear. It will then catch the spheres again and shoot at the player with them.
