Hikaru and Akane

Template:Infobox Hikaru and Akane, are two showgirls in rabbit costumes riding on rockets, and it's first appeared enemies in Parodius Da! (1990) and Playables in Gokujō Parodius! (1994). Their weapons are borrowed from Thunder Cross (1988).

They were bosses in Jikkyō Oshaberi Parodius (1995) and Jikkyō Oshaberi Parodius: Forever With Me (1996), most likely as revenge for not being featured as playable characters. They return as usable characters in Sexy Parodius (1997).

Then, Hikaru, Akane and his Her Bunny-Girls is decided playable with the commanders in the Simulation War Game for the Paro-Universe: Paro Wars (1997).

The girls have appeared as a cameo in many Konami game, such as Wai Wai World (1988), Quiz Gakumon No Susume (1993), Ganbare Goemon 3 : Shishijūrokubē no Karakuri Manji Gatame (1994), Snatcher (1988), TwinBee RPG (1998), Bishi Bashi Champ (1995), Bishi Bashi (1998), Bishi Bashi Champ Online (2005), Shout! Shaberin Champ Mobile (2006) or Eternal Knights TRUST (2012), and the cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh is replaced by the Gamble Angel Bunny in the Yu-Gi-Oh GX (2004), And appear a plus newcomer in Krazy Kart Racing (2009).

Also, Hikaru & Akane makes an appearance in three Pachislot Games, CR Parodius Da! EX in 2000, CR Gokujō Parodius! in 2006, Gokuraku Parodius! and Gokuraku Parodius! A in September 2010.

• Hikaru used to say that she's gonna retire, but came to Takosuke to earn money to keep her young and beautiful.

• Akane is the twin sister of Hikaru, she began to live alone having a humble life, and bad luck with men. She's a spoiled girl but thinks that she's gonna deceive men some day. Both are aged 22 years old.

In Otomedius Excellent

Template:InfoboxIn Otomedius Excellent, Hikaru and Akane make an appaearance as Ruby and Cobalt which are the two androids in the Dark Dimension. The two girls entered to join Dark Force and the Bacterian for their serious mission in Space-Time Dimension while you defeat those core before you enter her dangerous world.

Ruby is voiced by Asumi Kana and Cobalt is voiced by Noriko Shitaya.

In Sexy Parodius, their Option Types can switch from Formation Option (default) to R-Option depending on the bomb currently activated.
