Heavy Ducker (ヘビーダッカー Hebī Dakkā) is the third boss of the final stage in Gradius Gaiden.
Description[]
Heavy Ducker is an orange, giant version of the Duckers. It is fought in the last stage, before the indestructible Rolling wheel of Sol. It has its own unique boss theme. It attacks with a machine gun, a laser gun (which may shoot shots or a beam), mines that explode, and missiles that actively target the player. It can also shoot the player while in the background, utilizing the Playstation's 3D capabilites.

- It and the Elephant Gear from Gradius V are the only land-based Core Bosses ever in all of the Gradius series.
- The Heavy Ducker's looks resemble the Metal Gears from the Metal Gear series, also by Konami.
- Heavy Ducker appears as a common enemy in Otomedius Excellent.
- Some of the attacks used by Heavy Ducker are akin to the attacks used by A3 in Thunder Force V.
