Hatches (ハッチ Hatchi) are recurring enemies in the Gradius and Parodius series.
Description[]
Hatches are the most common enemies in the series, appearing in pretty much every game under a different visual. Although there are many different variations of Hatches, they all do the same thing: launch out fighter ships (Gradius) or other kinds of enemies (Parodius), with the only change being their appearance.
