Gradius NEO Imperial (グラディウスNEO -IMPERIAL- Guradiusu NEO Imperial ) is a horizontally-scrolling shooter game developed and published by Konami on March 1, 2004 for mobile phones, and was released on NTT DoCoMo's FOMA 900i line of phones in Japan.
In contrast to all other Gradius games, the player controls the opposing force through the use of a customized version of the Big Core. However, since the Big Core in this game is a rogue ship escaping from the Lars Empire, which is the enemy in Gradius NEO, players will not fight against the Gradius Union. Also unlike Gradius NEO and other Gradius games and traditional shoot 'em ups where the scrolling is toward the right, in this game it is done toward the left.
The Gradius NEO series appears as the sequel of the last Nemesis game, Nemesis 3.
