Free Flyer is a music theme originally composed by Miki Higashino for Gradius, where it was used for the fourth stage, It was reused later for the Game Boy version of Nemesis where it was used in the first stage and merged with another famous theme, Challenger 1985.
It was later remixed and merged along with Fly High and Burning Heat into one single track; A Long Time Ago for the alternate stage theme of Volcanic Planet.
The music was also remixed for Airforce Delta Strike where it was used during the Earth Missions with the Vic Viper.
