Enigma (エニグマ) is an enemy in Gradius III.
Details
Enigmas appear as insectoid drones encased in bubbles. They appear in the stage 2, Bubble Zone, where they spawn in large numbers from openings in the floor and ceiling. Once they spot the Vic Viper they pop out of their bubbles and start tracking down the player.
