Enigma (エニグマ, Eniguma) is an enemy in Gradius III.

Description

Enigmas appear as insectoid drones encased in bubbles. They appear in Stage 2, Bubble Zone, where they spawn in large numbers from openings on the floor and ceiling. Once they spot the Vic Viper, they pop out of their bubbles and start tracking down the player. If their bubbles are popped before they can, they are discolored green.
