The Decoration Core (デコレーションコア Dekorēshon Koa) is the boss of the third stage in Gokujō Parodius!
Description[]
The Decoration Core is a parody of the Big Core MK III.
Attack patterns[]
The Decoration Core attacks with a combination of frosting streams and standard lasers. It also has a vicious ramming attack it likes to pull off quite often, its moves can be predicted when it smiles. The only way to destroy it is to kill the miniature creatures hiding inside its mouth (which have no additional protection, but are very durable.)
On higher difficulties or loops, it can fire lasers which have narrower gaps in between, which may hit the player if he's staying at the left edge of the screen.

Trivia[]
- The ability to adjust the angle of the reflective lasers by the Decoration Core is later implemented to Big Core MK III Kai in Gradius IV. In addition, the ramming attack is also implemented to Big Core MK III in Gradius V.
