Dead End (デッドエンド Deddo Endo^?) is a boss in the MSX port of Salamander.

Description[]

Dead End is the boss of planet Eioneus and is fought right after Fortress Valis. He appears in Salamander MSX only. He is a weaker version of Metal Slave, having only three cores.

Attack patterns[]

Dead End moves around, periodically firing lasers from four ports on the front. It also attempts to ram you. Destroying the blue core opens up the path to the main core, meaning you can finish it off without destroying all the cores. It has a high amount of health, but the cores are destroyed in one hit.

Trivia[]

The song used in the Level 4 of the NES version of Gradius II has the same name.
