Dark Force is a recurring boss music theme in the Gradius series. Several arrangements of it have appeared in the series, as well as some of its spinoffs.
Appearances[]
- Gradius III (arcade, SNES) – While the arcade version of the game only has one theme, the Super NES version features two, each playing during different boss encounters.
- Sexy Parodius (arcade, Saturn, PS, PSP) – Appears as Kaori's boss battle theme.
- Gradius V – Known as BIGCORE MK-III, Used for Big Core MK III and Beacon as the battle theme.
- Otomedius Excellent – Called "Whirlpool" & "Battle on wall", it is the theme of Dellinger Core & Gunner Wall. A remixed version called "Revibe" plays during the final encounter with Dark Force.
