Core Reactor is the boss of stage 2 in Gradius: The Interstellar Assault.
Description[]
It is the Reactor of the Coreship which attacked the player and his fleet at the beginning of the game. When destroyed, the Coreship explodes.
Attack patterns[]
The Core Reactor attacks the player with its guns on the top and bottom which can be destroyed. It also makes electricity blasts from the ceiling and the floor. Finally, it will pull or repel the player from itself when it spins around while doing the two aforementioned attacks.
