Cliff Core (クリフ・コア Kurifu Koa) is the second boss in stage 8 in Gradius Galaxies.
Description[]
Cliff Core is a gunwall and the second gunwall-related boss in Gradius Galaxies, the other being Crystal Gust. Cliff Core has five cores, each core are protected by three barriers.
Attack patterns[]
Cliff Core fires lasers while blow torches on the top and bottom moving forward and backward. This enemy can be considered the real final boss challenge-wise, aside from rotating wall. The lasers fire in an almost incessant rate, and coupled with the blowtorches and the spawned enemies, things can get real crowded and nasty. The lasers will not fire at point blank range, and that can be exploited to take down the boss.
