Burning Heat is a music theme originally composed for both Arcade and NES port of Gradius II. It is the background theme for Stage 1, Artificial Sun. It was being remixed into Gradius III arcade version in a title of A Long Time Ago combining and merged with Free Flyer and Fly High as an alternate stage theme for Volcanic Planet.
It was later remixed to be used for Dance Dance Revolution Max 2 in one of the selected song stage, another Konami franchise.
