Bubble Eye (バブルアイ) is the boss of Bubble Zone, the second stage of Gradius III.
Description[]
The Bubble Eye resembles a massive bubble with arteries and veins built inside. In the SNES version, it is called the Bubble Brain.
Attack patterns[]
The Bubble Eye resides encased within a large bubble apparently made of a gelatinous substance which acts as a shield and that constantly regenerates, so fire needs to be kept on it to inflict any damage. It will constantly shoot ricocheting bubbles from its sides and will occasionally attempt to fire bubbles from the front; however, since this is also its weak spot and they are destroyable, this attack rarely matters.
