Bubble Core (バブルコア Baburu Koa) is the boss of Stage 3 in Gradius IV.
Description[]
Bubble Core is a modification of Big Core MK I. As the name implies, it shoots bubbles but is relatively easy nonetheless.
Attack patterns[]
Bubble Core's attack pattern is just like Big Core MK I in that it moves up and down while shooting four lasers. In addition to this, it has two arms that move slowly and release Bubbles; these break apart when shot enough times. The bubbles can move at various speeds, mostly medium, and serve mainly as a distraction.
