Bubble is a recurring enemy in the Gradius series.
Description
The bubbles are hazards which appear in the second stage of Gradius III and third stage of Gradius IV, appearing as multicolored large water/soap bubbles of various sizes. Sometimes Enigmas enemies can be found in these bubbles.
Patterns
They move erratically around the screen, splitting into multiple, smaller bubbles when shot at, not unlike the Ice from Gradius II. Only when they're reduced to tiny bubbles they can be destroyed.
Additionally, these bubbles also appears in the Parodius series, they have the same patterns as the Gradius ones. Much like in Gradius III, they also sometimes come with enemies inside of them, such as the High-School Girls.
