Big Moai is a miniboss in Parodius.
Description[]
Big Moai appears as the miniboss of the first stage in Parodius and thus is the very first miniboss to appear in the entire Parodius series. It is giant red moai that shoots ion rings —not unlike normal moai— although it also spawns smaller floating moais. Its weak spot is his nose; when shot enough times, chicks will appear over it indicating that he's been defeated.
