Big Core DX-01 (ブラックビッグコア Burakku Biggu Koa, lit. Black Big Core) is the boss exclusive to Otomedius Gorgeous.
Description[]
It is a black Riding Core variant of Big Core MK I that appears in Otomedius Gorgeous, equipped with mini Big Cores serving as its "options". It is piloted by Meta Lium.
Attack patterns[]
*Note: All attack names except Beam Shot are purely conjectural*
- Beam Shot - Big Core DX-01 will shoot its iconic four-shot laser with its mini Big Cores doing the same attack.
- "Homing Missiles" - Along with Beam Shot, Big Core DX-01 will deploy a pair of destructible homing missiles that target at the player.
- "Mini Big Cores" - They are considered as "Options" of Big Core DX-01 that has weapons mentioned above. They can change their firing angle like the Wide Options. They initially appear in 4 with each subsequent damage add another Mini Big Core with the max limit of 6.
- "Evasive Roll" - Big Core DX-01 will occasionally perform an evasive roll for a brief moment while firing bullet spreads. Note that Big Core DX-01 will still fire its Beam Shot.
