The Beta Core is a boss in Nemesis '90 Kai.
Description[]
The "Beta Core" is a unnamed pseudo-Core from Nemesis '90 Kai, appearing as the boss of the exclusive waterfall stage (Stage 11). It is a very simple warship with a single core and no barriers, surrounded by a water bubble which serves for both offense and defense.
Attack patterns[]
The bubble will shield the boss, which only becomes vulnerable whenever it is attacking. Its attacks include shooting small bubbles, which can be destroyed, as well as elongating its bubble for a whipping attack.
Trivia[]
- It acts in a similar way as the Bubble Eye from Gradius III, where the bubbles shoot into the edge of it.
- The core has low energy, meaning it can be beaten by Metalion's laser by firing three times.
- The pilot of this Core ship is unknown.
