Berserk Core

Berserk Core (バーサクコア^?) is the fourth boss of the Boss Rush in Gradius IV.

Attack patterns[]

Berserk Core fires lasers from turrets that aim at the player. It is supported by two smaller turret ships that also have aiming lasers. Depending on which group is destroyed will determine how Berserk Core will act. If you destroy the two small ships accompanying it, Berserk Core will go berserk and fire longer lasers very rapidly while also moving fast. However, if you destroy one of the two small ships and then the main ship, you'll defeat it.
